HOW WE RUN THIS

Fair Play Standards for Teasers and Pleasers

Published House Rules

Our teaser and pleaser grading rules are written out in the sportsbook terms — covering pushes, cancellations, and how a voided leg affects the remaining card legs.

Line Source Transparency

Spreads and totals used in teaser and pleaser cards come from the same odds feed powering the main sportsbook board, so the numbers are consistent across bet types.

No Hidden Point Adjustments

The point shift you select — say, six points on an NFL teaser — is applied exactly as shown before you confirm. There are no automatic adjustments added after submission.

State Eligibility Noted

Teaser and pleaser betting is available where state law permits. Eligible states are confirmed at account login, so you only see these bet types if they apply to your location.

A teaser moves point spreads and totals in your favor by a set number of points — typically six, six-and-a-half, or seven in football — across two or more legs. The tradeoff is a lower payout than a straight parlay. A pleaser flips that logic: you move lines against yourself, which makes each leg harder to hit but pushes the potential return

significantly higher. Both formats are available on NFL spreads, college football totals, and NBA point spreads. You build the card in the sportsbook tab, select your adjustment, and the updated odds display immediately before you confirm. Same-game parlay and player prop legs are not eligible to combine with teaser or pleaser cards.

Teaser and Pleaser Terms You Should Know

01
What is a teaser in sports betting?

A teaser lets you move the point spread or total in your favor by a fixed number of points across multiple legs. Moving the line in your favor reduces the payout compared to a standard parlay.

02
What is a pleaser bet?

A pleaser moves the line against you — making each leg harder to win — in exchange for a larger potential return. It is essentially the inverse structure of a teaser bet.

03
What does 'teaser key numbers' mean?

Key numbers in football are 3 and 7, the most common final-score margins. A six-point teaser is valuable because it lets you cross both key numbers on a single spread adjustment.

04
What is a push in a teaser card?

A push happens when an adjusted spread lands exactly on the new number. In most teaser formats, a push reduces the card by one leg rather than voiding the whole ticket.

05
What does 'correlated legs' mean for teasers?

Correlated legs are outcomes that are statistically linked — like betting the same team to cover and the game to go under. Most sportsbooks, including ours, do not allow correlated legs on one card.

06
What is a two-team teaser payout?

Payouts vary by the point adjustment chosen and the house rules. A standard six-point, two-team football teaser typically pays close to even money, though exact odds display before you confirm.

What You're Asking About Teasers and Pleasers

Both bet types require a minimum of two legs. You can add more legs to increase the potential return, though each additional leg must also win for the card to pay out.

Yes. You can mix NFL and NBA point spread legs on a single teaser card. The point adjustment applies to all legs, but the amount of movement varies by sport as displayed in the ticket builder.

If a game on your pleaser card is postponed and not played within the grading window, that leg is voided. The card reverts to the remaining legs and is graded on those results only.

Player prop legs are not eligible for teaser or pleaser cards at ezplay2001. Only point spread and game total legs from qualifying NFL, college football, and NBA markets can be added.

Once confirmed, a teaser or pleaser ticket is locked. You cannot add, remove, or change legs after submission. Check each leg and the adjusted spread carefully before you confirm the card.

Open the sportsbook tab and tap My Bets. Your active teaser and pleaser cards show each leg, the adjusted spread, and live scoring updates so you can follow along from any device without logging out.
